7 WAYS TO LOOK GREAT AS YOU AGE

Here are 7 ways to look great as you age:
1.  Layer like a stylist!  Start with the first piece to be longer and thinner then add a V-neck top or sweater.
2.  Bring back the DRESS!  Yes, everyone looks better in a dress.  Prints and rushing camouflage.
3.  Create a longer, leaner silhouette.  Expose your neck and legs without being immodest.  Add nude colored pumps to look longer.
4.  Go monochromatic!  Stay within the same color circle.
5.  Smooth lines with shapewear.  SPANX!  Need I say more??
6.  Add definition with skinny belts.
7.  Be bold with color.  Don't stick to boring black.  Do you always dress as though you just got back from a funeral?  Add color.

Four Dressing Lessons That Work For Everyone

Here are four dressing lessons that work for everyone:
Lesson No. 1-Proportion is all about balance.  Put oversize with fit pieces.  You don't want to look like a puffy balloon so if you wear a tunic top put it over tight jeans or leggings.  If you are wearing a full skirt then top it off with a form fitting top.  Even out your frame.
Lesson No. 2-Color can trick the eye.  Darker colors can slim.  Choose light and bright color where you are slimmest.  Any deep shade of plum, navy, gray, brown, or evergreen will do the trick.  You don't have to stick to "funeral black" all of the time!!!  Dressing monochromatically head to toe will cause a slimmer effect.  If you want to wear bright colored jeans,  top it off with a thigh length jacket or sweater in a matching tone.
Lesson No. 3-Structure is forgiving.  Fitted and tailored is always more forgiving.  Dart, seamings, peplums,  a shoulder blazer makes you look slimmer.
Lesson No. 4-Diagonal lines make it all better.  Ever wonder why we all look good in a wrap dress?  Thank slimming , curve creating superpowers.  Bias cut seams,  chevron prints, slanted hem lines all
slim and hide flaws.

1.  God will turn your SCARS into your STARS!
2.  He will make your MESS into your MESSAGE!
3.  He will turn your LEMONS into LEMONADE!
4.  Your ATTITUDE determines your ALTITUDE!
5.  Become BETTER not BITTER!
6.  He will help you become a VICTOR not a VICTIM!

Up in the Air

How much do you know about flying the friendly skies?  Do you know what to wear on a plane?
Here are some questions and answers:
1.  What is the cheapest way to fly domestically?  Wednesday.  Most expensive days are Friday and Sunday.
2.  When is the best time to book/buy domestic flights?  Tuesday afternoon.
3.  What is the most important thing you can do to ensure your safety in an emergency evacuation?
Wear shoes and count the rows between you and the exit.
4.  Which seat on the plane is statistically safest?  All:  right next to the emergency exit, front row, or near the back by the bathroom.
5.  What is the busiest air travel date in 2012?  July 20
6.  What day are you most likely to arrive on time?  Saturday
7.  What percentage of baggage is lost, stolen, or damaged?  .3%
8.  What should you wear on a plane?  Something that is fashionable and comfortable like polyester/spandex with FLAT shoes.  Nothing is worse that walking throughout long airport terminals with uncomfortable high heels.  I also recommend taking a light jacket or sweater in case you get cold at such a high altitude.  You can always take it off and use it as a rest pillow.

Happy Birthday Two Year Old, Lincoln!

One Dress, Two Ways

A sheath is a dress with a million faces.  As long as it fits well, you can turn this blank canvas into a work of art for any occasion.  Wear it with a cardigan sweater over it and a belt or wear a blouse under it with some kitten heels.  This classic piece of clothing can be worn so many ways.
