Maxi Dresses

I just love maxi dresses. I hope that they never go out of style. You can get some super cute ones for cheap at Old Navy, Forever 21, TJMaxx, Ross, Target, etc... Back when I was a little girl, we called them "MooMoo's" and they were UGLY! Today, they are hip and come in so many colors and variations. They are great to wear after church when you just want to be lazy but still look nice. It is like wearing a night-gown. You can make them modest by wearing a cute sweater or jacket over it or a t-shirt under it.

One Bowl Brownies

One-Bowl-Brownies are a fashion must-have. Just kidding....everyone needs to know how to make a simply delicious brownie that is light and yummy and easy to prepare. Here is the BEST recipe ever (thanks Christine) I made a few adjustments.
In one bowl put in:
6 tbsp.butter or margarine
1c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa powder
Mix all together and pour into an 8x8 greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 22-30 minutes. You can always tell if the brownie is done by shaking the pan. If it wobbles in the middle, then it needs more cooking time. Cool and frost with your favorite butter cream frosting. This batter is thin. This brownie is GOOD and light.

My Favorite Way To Get Rid of Wrinkles

No....not wrinkles on your face but wrinkles in your clothes. I just can't stand it when people go out in public with a wrinkled shirt or a wrinkled pair of pants. I always look to see if the deacons in our church have freshly pressed shirts on or not...where is their mother???? I just love my steamer! You can get one at Walmart for $30.00 and just fill it with water and plug it in and steam away those unsightly wrinkles! It is so much fun to do--I just love to see those wrinkle magically disappear with the hot steam. Stubborn wrinkles in wool, cotton, knits, etc. will respond beautifully.

Assemble your beauty tool kit. This can be a great back up for those emergencies. Most wardrobe malfunctions happen when you are away from home so being prepared is essential. Keep this in your trunk, glove box, or purse. Put in a ziploc bag. I suggest the following:

Why do some of the most evil men get the prettiest wives? Could it be that these women are just attracted to all of the things money can buy??? Take a look. With the U.S. Presidential Race running strong and fierce, I can't help but notice the major transformation of Mitt Romney's wife, Anne. She has come a long way, baby! It looks as though she has hired some professional help to up her ante. Take a look. She has lightened her hair. She has added volume to her roots and curled her ends of her hair. She has FINALLY added some side swoop bang; she really needs bangs! She has brightened her makeup by adding some lip color. This is essential as we women age. What a difference!
