Try Some Crochet

Yes, now is the time to wear something that is crocheted.  There are lovely dresses and skirts.  You can even find a crocheted handbag.  It is very retro.  I remember by sister making and wearing her very own crocheted vest in high school.

Eye Lash Extensions

I love long and thick eye lashes.  Nothing looks more feminine than luscious eye lashes.  Women just look more glamorous with false eyelashes.  I have tried Lattisse ( a presciption liquid you apply to your eye lashes at night) and could not tell any difference.  Could be that I am too impatient for nature to take its course to grow.  I have tried false eye lashes that you can buy at the drugstore for under $5.00.    These last for a day and can be re-used.  They feel annoying and heavy.  Then my daughter bought me time to get a set of eye lash extensions at the boutique.  The cosmetologist was certified and had me lay down and she applied one eye lash at a time with super strong glue.  This procedure took about 2 and a half hours.  I could not get my face wet for 24 hours.  So far so good!  They are beautiful!  I don't need to bother with endless amounts of mascara and eye lash curlers.  I am a believer.

Prevent Cancer

The experts predict that in 2030, cancer will rise by 75% worldwide.  This is due to Western lifestyles linked to cancer that other countries will adopt.  One fifth of the cancers will be preventable due to preventable factors.  Cancers linked to smoking, alcohol and bad diet along with lack of exercise will be on the rise.  It is possible to avoid one third to one half of all cancers by eating healthier, exercising,  quit smoking and don't drink alcohol.  It is worth the effort.

How To Fight Cellulite

I am the pro of cellulite!  I know what it looks like and just how it feels.  I know one of my daughters once asked me, when they were too young to know better, if I was pregnant in each thigh!!!  Here are some hints on how to fight cellulite:
1.  Use a firming cream-something with hyaluronic acid and caffine.  Estee Lauder has one called "Body Performance Firming Body Creme" for $40.00
2.  Add some shimmer-dust on some body bronzer shimmer for $4.00 NYC Bronzer
3.  Give your thighs a rub-down-massage daily with a firming lotion
4.  Add some squats and leg lifts
5.  Double up on self-tanner-L'Oreal Paris has some great self tanning lotion as does Jergens.
6.  Get liposuction-if worse comes to worse, call your board certified plastic surgeon.  It is amazing how much fat they can suck out.

Another Reason To Stay in School

Recent studies have shown that the longer you stay in school and the more education you get, the longer you will live.  Education and longevity are soul mates.  College education is an achievement that portends better jobs, more choices, and perhaps, surprisingly, potentially longer lives.  School is cool.  The more you learn, the more you earn$$$$!
