Caramel Buttery Vanilla Popcorn

Here is my recipe for "Caramel Buttery Vanilla Popcorn":
1 stick of real butter
1 cup brown sugar
1  tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
8-10 cups of popped popcorn
Melt butter over medium heat and add the brown sugar and salt.  Bring to a rolling boil  without stirring for 3-4 minutes.  Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda.  Combine well.  Place popcorn in a large bowl and pour sauce over every popped kernel.  Transfer to a waxed paper lined cookie sheet and cool completely.  Serve.  Can add M&M's or peanuts for fun!
