Overcome the Winter Blahs




Overcoming the winter blues and blahs is not always easy especially if the weather is rotten and you are feeling bad about the hype of Christmas coming to an end. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Find the sun. Go out and get some sunlight.
2. Anticipate a new year. Make goals and believe that a great year is ahead.
3. Organize and complete any unfinished projects. Now's the time to get everything done.
4. Take care of your health. Make new goals to exercise and eat better.
5. Reach out to others. Write thank you notes, call up an old friend, throw a party, serve.
6. Stimulate your mind. Watch movies, read good books, play games, play the piano, take a class.
7. Adjust your attitude. Thoughts promote either good or bad attitudes.
8. Believe in yourself! Believe that you can do anything.
9. Courage. Have the courage to do what you really want to do. Have courage to do what is right!
